Abraham was (equal to) a nation, obedient to Allah, of pure faith and was not among the idolaters, 120 he was thankful for His blessings. God chose him and guided him to a straight path. 121 And We gave him Good in this world, and he will be, in the Hereafter, in the ranks of the Righteous. 122 So We commanded you to follow the way of Abraham the upright who was not of idolaters. 123 The Sabbath was ordained only for those who differed about it, and most surely your Lord will judge between them on the resurrection day concerning that about which they differed. 124 Call unto the way of thy Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation, and reason with them in the better way. Lo! thy Lord is Best Aware of him who strayeth from His way, and He is Best Aware of those who go aright. 125 And if you chastise, chastise even as you have been chastised; and yet assuredly if you are patient, better it is for those patient. 126 And be patient and your patience is not but by (the assistance of) Allah, and grieve not for them, and do not distress yourself at what they plan. 127 God is certainly with the pious and the righteous ones. 128
