Surely, Abraham was a nation obedient unto God, a man of pure faith and no idolater, 120 He was thankful to God for His bounties. God chose him and guided him to the right path. 121 And We gave him goodness in this world; and indeed in the Hereafter he is worthy of proximity. 122 So We commanded you to follow the way of Abraham the upright who was not of idolaters. 123 The sabbath was only appointed for those who differed thereon; and verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Judgment-Day concerning that wherein they have been differing. 124 Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided. 125 If you have to retaliate, do so to the extent you have been injured; but if you forbear it is best for those who bear with fortitude. 126 And do thou be patient, for thy patience is but from Allah; nor grieve over them: and distress not thyself because of their plots. 127 God is certainly with the pious and the righteous ones. 128
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
