Commemorate Moses in the Book. He was a chosen one, both an apostle and a prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of the mountain Tur, and brought him close to reveal Our secret. 52 and out of Our mercy We appointed his brother Aaron, a Prophet (that he may assist him). 53 And mention in the Book, Ishmael; he too was true to his promise, a Messenger and a Prophet. 54 He enjoined his household to observe Prayer and to give Zakah (purifying alms); and his Lord was well pleased with him. 55 Tell also of Idris in the Book. He was a man of truth and a prophet. 56 whom We exalted onto a lofty station. 57 Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. ۩ 58 ۞ And after them came the unworthy successors who squandered prayer and pursued their own desires, so they will soon encounter the forest of Gai in hell. 59 Except those who repent and come to believe and do the right. These will enter Paradise and will not be wronged the least 60 [theirs will be the] gardens of perpetual bliss which the Most Gracious has promised unto His servants, in a realm which is beyond the reach of human perception: [and,] verily, His promise is ever sure of fulfilment! 61 There, they shall hear no idle talk, but only peace. And there they shall be given their provision at dawn and at the evening. 62 this is the paradise which We grant as a heritage unto such of Our servants as are conscious of Us. 63 AND [the angels say]: "We do not descend [with revelation,] again and again, other than by thy Sustainer's command: unto Him belongs all that lies open before us and all that is hidden from us and all that is in-between. And never does thy Sustainer forget [anything] 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that which is betwixt the twain; so Him worship thou, and endure patiently in His worship; knowest thou any as His compeer? 65
