And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 Remembereth not man that We created him afore when he was not aught? 67 So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees. 68 Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious. 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 And every one of you will come within sight of it: this is, with thy Sustainer, a decree that must be fulfilled. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah's Punishment etc.). 81 By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. 82
