The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
