Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall most surely gather them and the devils too; and bring them close to hell on their knees. 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 We know best who deserves greater suffering in hell fire. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he penetrated to the Unseen, or has he taken a contract with (Allah) Most Gracious? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 They have taken other gods instead of Allah that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
