And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 And once again: We shall save [from hell] those who have been conscious of Us; but We shall leave in it the evildoers, on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who deny the truth say to the faithful, "Which of the two sides is better in respect of position and makes a more impressive assembly?" 73 And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance! 74 Say: "As for him who lives in error, may the Most Gracious lengthen the span of his life! [And let them say whatever they say until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned - whether it be suffering [in this world] or [at the coming of] the Last Hour - for then they will understand which [of the two kinds of man] was worse in station and weaker in resources! 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
