Man says, 'What, when I am dead shall I then be brought forth alive?' 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 Then We shall deliver those that feared Allah and leave the wrong-doers there on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who deny the truth say to the faithful, "Which of the two sides is better in respect of position and makes a more impressive assembly?" 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Have you seen him who denies the truth in Our revelations and says, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
