Man says, 'What, when I am dead shall I then be brought forth alive?' 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 and there is not one of you but shall pass through it: a decree from your Lord which must be fulfilled. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye? 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 And Allah increases those who were guided, in guidance, and the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for recourse. 76 Have you seen him who denies Our revelations, and says: "I will certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. 82
