Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 We have made it [the Quran] easy, in your own language [Prophet], so that you may convey glad news to the righteous and give warning to a stubborn people. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
