Do you not see that We have sent the Shaitans against the unbelievers, inciting them by incitement? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
