Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days). 84 On the day when We shall assemble the righteous towards the Most Gracious, as guests. 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 although it is inconceivable that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son! 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 On the Day of Resurrection each one of these will come to Him singly. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
