T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not revealed unto thee (Muhammad) this Qur'an that thou shouldst be distressed, 2 but only as a reminder to him who tears, 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 God -- there is no god but He. To Him belong the Names Most Beautiful. 8 Has the story of Moses come to you? 9 When he saw a fire, and said to his family, 'Tarry you here; I observe a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a brand from it, or I shall find at the fire guidance.' 10 And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! 11 I am your Lord. Take off your shoes, for you are in Towa, the sacred valley. 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]. 13 Verily I am God; there is no god but I; therefore serve Me, and perform the prayer of My remembrance. 14 Although it is certain that the Day of Judgment will come, I prefer to keep it almost a secret so that every soul will receive the recompense for what it has done (on its own). 15 Hence, let not anyone who does not believe in its coming and follows [but] his own desires divert thee from [belief in] it, lest thou perish! 16 "And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?" 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, and with it, I beat down the leaves for my flock; I also have other uses for it." 18 The Lord said, "Moses, throw it on the ground". 19 So Moosa put it down – thereupon it became a fast moving serpent. 20 Then He said: "Seize it and have no fear. We shall restore it to its former state. 21 "And press your (right) hand to your (left) side, it will come forth white (and shining), without any disease as another sign, 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
