Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 and make my task easy for me, 26 And loose a knot from my tongue, 27 so that they may understand my speech; 28 “And appoint for me a viceroy from among my family.” 29 Harun, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him 31 And let him share my task, 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 And remember You much. 34 “Indeed You see us.” 35 [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses. 36 We have bestowed Our favour on you before this 37 When We told your mother what We relate: 38 "'Put him into a chest, then cast it into the river. The river will cast it on to the bank, and there he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and his.' I showered My love on you so that you might be reared under My watchful eye. 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 "Go with your brother. Take My miracles and do not be reluctant in preaching My message. 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has waxed insolent; 43 “And speak to him courteously, that perhaps he may ponder or have some fear.” 44 They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." 45 He (Allah) said: "Fear not, verily! I am with you both, hearing and seeing. 46 Go, then; you two unto him and say, 'Behold, we are apostles sent by thy Sustainer: let, then, the children of Israel go with us, and cause them not to suffer [any longer]. We have now come unto thee with a message from thy Sustainer; and [know that His] peace shall be [only] on those who follow [His] guidance: 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave everything its form and then guided it." 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 (Moses) replied: "Knowledge of that is with my Lord (recorded) in the Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 The One Who has made the earth a bed for you and kept operative roads for you in it and sent down water from the sky; so with it We produced different pairs of vegetation. 53 So eat yourself and pasture your cattle. Surely there are many Signs in this for people of understanding. 54
