He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 and make my task easy for me, 26 "And remove the impediment from my speech, 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 Appoint a deputy (for me) from my own people. 29 “That is Haroon, my brother.” 30 by him confirm my strength, 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 "That we may glorify You much, 33 And remember You much. 34 Surely, Thou art seeing us. 35 He answered: "Granted is your prayer, O Moses. 36 We had already shown you favor 37 "When We inspired your mother with that which We inspired. 38 'Put the baby into a chest and then throw him in the river. The river will throw him up on the shore, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him.' And I spread My love over you in order that you might be reared in My sight. 39 "When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve. Then you did kill a man, but We saved you from great distress and tried you with a heavy trial. Then you stayed a number of years with the people of Madyan (Midian). Then you came here according to the fixed term which I ordained (for you), O Musa (Moses)! 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 Go both of you to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel. 43 "But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (Allah)." 44 They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)." 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 He said: who is the Lord of you twain, O Musa! 49 He replied: "Our Sustainer is He who gives unto every thing [that exists] its true nature and form, and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment]. 50 (The Pharaoh) said: "And what about the former generations?" 51 He said, “Their knowledge is with my Lord, (recorded) in a Book; my Lord neither strays nor forgets.” 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 (Saying): Eat ye and feed your cattle. Lo! herein verily are portents for men of thought. 54
