Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage. 25 "And ease my task for me; 26 And loose a knot from my tongue. 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen by him my back. 31 Let him be my partner in this task 32 that we may abundantly extol Your glory; 33 "And remember You much, 34 “Indeed You see us.” 35 The Lord said, "Moses, your request is granted. 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 When We revealed to your mother what was revealed; 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 What time thy sister was walking along and saying: shall I direct you unto one who will take care of him? Thus We returned thee to thy mother that she might cool her eyes and she might not grieve. And thou slewest a person, but We delivered thee from sorrow, and We tried thee with several trials. Then thou tarriedst for years among the people of Madyan then thou camest according to fate, O Musa! 40 for I have chosen thee for Mine Own service. 41 Go thou and thy brother with My signs, and slacken not in remembrance of Mine. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 And speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear. 44 They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." 45 He (Allah) said: "Fear not, verily! I am with you both, hearing and seeing. 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 for, behold, it has been revealed to us that [in the life to come] suffering shall befall all who give the lie to the truth and turn away [from it]!"' 48 Pharaoh said, 'Who is your Lord, Moses?' 49 Moses replied, "Our Lord is He who has given everything its form, then guided it." 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 It is God who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel. He has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle, (therein); verily, in this are proofs and signs for men of understanding. 54
