Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 and ease my task for me. 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 That they may understand my saying. 28 And give me as assistant from my family 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 To strengthen me 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 that we may abundantly extol Your glory; 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 “Indeed You see us.” 35 He said: You are indeed granted your petition, O Musa 36 And indeed, another time, already We have shown thee favour, 37 When We inspired unto thy mother that which We inspired, 38 "Cast him into the ark, and cast him into the river, and let the river throw him up on the shore. An enemy of Mine and his shall take him." And I loaded on thee love from Me, and to be formed in My sight, 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 And I produced you for Myself. 41 "Go forth, [then,] thou and thy brother, with My messages, and never tire of remembering Me: 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 Both of you must speak with him in a gentle manner so that perhaps he may come to himself or have fear (of God)." 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He (Allah) said: "Fear not, verily! I am with you both, hearing and seeing. 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 It has been revealed to us that chastisement shall light upon him who cries lies and turns his back." 48 [But when God's message was conveyed unto Pharaoh,] he said: "Who, now, is this Sustainer of you two, O Moses?" 49 'Our Lord' he replied, 'is He Who gave everything its creation and then guided it' 50 He said: then what happened to the former generations? 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 He who appointed the earth to be a cradle for you, and therein threaded roads for you, and sent down water out of heaven, and therewith We have brought forth divers kinds of plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle; most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding. 54
