Whosoever worketh righteous works, and he is a believer, there shall be no denial of his endeavour; and We are for him the Writers. 94 It has been ordained against every town that We ever destroyed that they shall not return (to enjoy a new lease of life) 95 till, when Gog and Magog are unloosed, and they slide down out of every slope, 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 You and all those who you were worshipping, other than Allah, shall be the fuel of Gehenna; there you shall all go down to it. 98 If those had been gods, they would never have gone down to it, but in it they shall live for ever. 99 They will groan in pain therein, but no one will listen to them. 100 Those for whom the good (record) from Us has gone before, will be removed far therefrom. 101 They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally. 102 The greatest terror (on the Day of Resurrection) will not grieve them, and the angels will meet them, (with the greeting): "This is your Day which you were promised." 103 (This will happen) on the day when We roll up the heavens as if it were a written scroll and bring it back into existence just as though We had created it for the first time. This is what We have promised and We have always been true to Our promise. 104 AND, INDEED, after having exhorted [man,] We laid it down in all the books of divine wisdom that My righteous servants shall inherit the earth: 105 This Qur’an is sufficient for people who are devout. 106 And [thus, O Prophet,] We have sent thee as [an evidence of Our] grace towards all the worlds. 107 Say: "It has but been revealed unto me that your God is the One and Only God: will you, then, surrender yourselves unto Him?" 108 Then if they turn away, proclaim, “I have proclaimed a war against you on equal terms; and what do I know whether the promise which is given to you, is close or far?” 109 God knows well all that is spoken aloud and all that you hide. 110 And I know not; perhaps it is a trial for you and enjoyment for a time." 111 [The Prophet] has said, "My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe." 112
