He who does good works while he is a believer, shall not see his efforts disregarded: We record them all. 94 And it is forbidden for any township which We have destroyed, that they may return. (Once the disbelievers face death, their return to earth is impossible.) 95 until Gog and Magog are let loose to rush down from the hills. 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 [Then they will be told:] "Verily, you and all that you [were wont to] worship instead of God are but the fuel of hell: that is what you are destined for. 98 If those had been gods, they would never have gone down to it, but in it they shall live for ever. 99 There is groaning for them therein, and they do not hear. 100 But those who have been promised a good reward by Us will be kept far away from Hell -- 101 Not the slightest sound will they hear of Hell: what their souls desired, in that will they dwell. 102 They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised" - 103 The day We shall roll up the heavens like a written scroll, We shall revert it (to nothing) as it was before We first created it.
