And said the chiefs of those who disbelieved among his people and belied the meeting of the Hereafter and whom We had luxuriated in the life of the world: this is no other than a human being like unto you; he eateth of that whereof ye eat, and he drinketh of that which ye drink. 33 And if you obey a mortal like yourselves, then most surely you will be losers: 34 Does he give you a promise that when you are dead and turned to dust and bones, you will be raised to life again? 35 ۞ Away, away with that you are promised! 36 There is no life beyond our life in this world: we die and we live [but once,] and we shall never be raised from the dead! 37 He is nothing but a man who has forged against Allah a lie, we will never believe him' 38 He said: my Lord! vindicate for they belie me. 39 He said: In a little while they will most certainly be repenting. 40 Then a mighty blast quite justly overtook them, and We reduced them to a rubble. So away with the wrong-doing folk! 41 Thereafter, after them, We produced other generations; 42 No people can hasten their term, nor can they delay (it). 43 Then sent We Our Messengers successively; whenever its Messenger came to a nation they cried him lies, so We caused some of them to follow others, and We made them as but tales; so away with a people who do not believe! 44 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our miracles and clear authority 45 To Pharaoh and his nobles who behaved with arrogance, for they were a conceited lot, 46 And said: "Should we believe in two men like yourselves, whose people are our subjects?" 47 So they cried them lies, and they were among the destroyed. 48 And We gave Moses the Book, in order that they might receive guidance. 49 and We made Mary's son, and his mother, to be a sign, and gave them refuge upon a height, where was a hollow and a spring: 50
