I told them, "Messengers, eat from the pure things and act righteously; I know all that you do. 51 And lo! this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, so keep your duty unto Me. 52 Yet they divided themselves into factions, each rejoicing in what they had. 53 Leave them in their perplexity for a time. 54 What, do they think that We succour them with of wealth and children, 55 We would hasten them on in every good? Nay, they do not understand. 56 Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord 57 Those who believe in the Signs of their Lord; 58 who associate none with their Lord, 59 And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities, etc., have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning). 60 to God, these are the ones who really compete with each other in virtuous deeds and are the foremost ones in the task. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are covered (blind) from understanding this (the Quran), and they have other (evil) deeds, besides, which they are doing. 63 Until when We lay hold of the luxuriant ones of them with the torment, and lo! then they are imploring! 64 We shall tell them, "Do not cry for help on this day; you will receive none from Us". 65 Surely My signs have been rehearsed unto you, and upon your heel ye were wont to draw back. 66 Insolently, treating them like tales told at night." 67 Have they not pondered over the word of God? Has something come to them that did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or, is it that they recognised not their apostle, and so of him they become deniers? 69 Do they say he is possessed? Rather he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. 70 But if the truth were in accord with their own likes and dislikes, the heavens and the earth would surely have fallen into ruin, and all that lives in them [would long ago have perished]! Nay, [in this divine writ] We have conveyed unto them all that they ought to bear in mind: and from this their reminder they [heedlessly] turn away! 71 Or do you ask of them any tribute? In that case the tribute of your Lord is better, for He is the best of providers. 72 And certainly, you (O Muhammad SAW) call them to a Straight Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 73 But those who do not believe in the Hereafter have indeed deviated from that path. 74 ۞ Were We to be merciful to them and remove from them their present afflictions, they would persist in their transgression, blindly wandering on. 75 And indeed We seized them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke (Allah) with submission to Him. 76 Until when We shall open upon them a portal of severe torment, and lo! thereat they are desparing. 77
