1/2 Hizb 35
< random >
[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing. 51 And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me." 52 But they split in their affair between them into sects, each party rejoicing in what is with them. 53 So leave them in their bewilderment for a while. 54 Think they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We provide them 55 We [but want to] make them vie with one another in doing [what they consider] good works? Nay, but they do not perceive [their error]! 56 Surely those who live in awe of their Lord, 57 And they who believe in the signs of their Lord 58 And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord; 59 and those who give to others what has been bestowed upon them with their hearts trembling at the thought that they must return to their Lord; 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works and shall be the foremost in doing so. 61 We charge not any soul save to its capacity, and with Us is a Book speaking truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 But their hearts are in ignorance of this (Koran); and they have deeds besides that which they are doing. 63 Until, when We grasp those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment, behold! They make humble invocation with a loud voice. 64 Do not cry out today. Indeed, by Us you will not be helped. 65 My Signs were rehearsed to you and you turned back on your heels and took to flight, 66 waxing proud against it, talking foolish talk by night.' 67 Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? 68 Or is it, perchance, that they have not recognized their Apostle, and so they disavow him? 69 Or say they: "There is madness in him?" Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. "(A) Tauhid: Worshipping Allah Alone in all aspects (B) The Quran (C) The religion of Islam,"] but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth. 70 But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away. 71 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers. 72 And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. 73 and surely they that believe not in the world to come are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ Did We have mercy on them, and remove the affliction that is upon them, they would persist in their insolence wandering blindly. 75 We had seized them with the punishment, but they did not bow before their Lord nor turned to Him in humility, 76 until We open before them a gate of harsh punishment and then they will be dumbfounded. 77
