1/2 Hizb 35
< random >
“O Noble Messengers, eat good clean things, and do good deeds; I know all that you do.” 51 And verily this Brotherhood of yours is a single Brotherhood, and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore fear Me (and no other). 52 But then they divided up their order into different creeds, each section rejoicing in what it had come to have. 53 So leave thou them in their perplexity for a time. 54 Do they fancy that Our continuing to give them wealth and children (means) that 55 We hasten in good works for them? No, they are not aware. 56 Verily those who for fear of their Lord are in awe. 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 And those who ascribe not partners unto their Lord, 59 And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities, etc., have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning). 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works and shall be the foremost in doing so. 61 And [withal.] We do not burden any human being with more than he is well able to bear: for with Us is a record that speaks the truth [about what men do and can do]; and none shall be wronged. 62 In fact, the hearts of the unbelievers are in the dark because of their ignorance of real virtue; they act against it. 63 To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring. 64 'Groan not today; surely you shall not be helped from Us. 65 My revelations were recited to you, but you turned your backs 66 waxing proud against it, talking foolish talk by night.' 67 Why did they not think over the message? Or has something come to them which had not come to their fathers? 68 Or is it that they did not recognise their Noble Messenger, therefore they consider him alien? 69 Or do they say, 'He is bedevilled'? Nay, he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse from the truth. 70 And should the truth follow their low desires, surely the heavens and the earth and all those who are therein would have perished. Nay! We have brought to them their reminder, but from their reminder they turn aside. 71 Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. 73 but those who do not believe in the Hereafter are ever prone to deviate from the Right Way. 74 ۞ If We took compassion on them and removed the affliction they are in, they would only wander lost in confusion. 75 We struck them with torment, but they did not submit themselves to their Lord, nor did they make themselves humble 76 Until when We open upon them a door of severe chastisement, lo! they are in despair at it. 77

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
