O YOU APOSTLES! Partake of the good things of life, and do righteous deeds: verily, I have full knowledge of all that you do. 51 And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me." 52 But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53 So leave them to their ignorance for a time. 54 What, do they think that We succour them with of wealth and children, 55 We hasten unto them with good things (in this worldly life so that they will have no share of good things in the Hereafter)? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Those who tremble in fear of their Lord, 57 And those who believe in the communications of their Lord, 58 And they who do not associate anything with their Lord 59 who give, whatever they give in charity, with their hearts trembling at the thought that they are destined to return to their Lord; 60 it is these who hasten to do good works and vie in so doing with one another. 61 We do not burden a soul beyond capacity, for We have a record that tells the truth. No wrong will be done to any one. 62 On the contrary, their hearts are in neglect of this and their works are different than those of the believers, the works that they are doing. 63 until - after We shall have taken to task, through suffering, those from among them who [now] are lost in the pursuit of pleasures - they cry out in [belated] supplication. 64 “Do not implore this day; you will not be helped by Us.” 65 My revelations were recited to you, but you turned your backs 66 "In arrogance: talking nonsense about the (Qur'an), like one telling fables by night." 67 Have they not pondered the matter, or did that come to them, which did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or, is it because they do not recognize their Messenger that they denied him? 69 Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth. 70 And if the Truth had followed their desires, verily the heavens and the earth and whosoever is therein had been corrupted. Nay, We have brought them their Reminder, but from their Reminder they now turn away. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 And indeed you call them to the Straight Path. 73 but those who disbelieve in the Everlasting Life deviate from the Path. 74 ۞ Even if We were to grant them mercy and rescue them from hardship, they would still blindly persist in their rebellion. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat. 77
