It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old; 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind? 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “So why do you not fear?” 87 Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know." 88 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: how then are ye turned away? 89 Nay, but We have brought them the truth (Islamic Monotheism), and verily, they (disbelievers) are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 Knower of the unseen and the visible; He is exalted above all that which they associate with Him. 92
