It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 It is God who has settled you on the earth and before Him you will all be assembled. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 "When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be raised up again? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will say: 'To Allah' Say: 'Then will you not remember' 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
