It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 No, but they said what the ancients said before them: 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say thou: who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty throne? 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Ask them: "Say, if you indeed know, to whom belongs the dominion over all things; (Who is it) that grants asylum, but against Whom no asylum is available?" 88 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “Then by what magic are you deceived?” 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
