Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
