Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I take refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Satans, 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
