Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
