Have you not seen that all those who are in the heavens and the earth praise Allah, and the birds with their wings spread (also praise Him)? Each one has learnt its prayers and its words of praise; and Allah knows their deeds. 41 For God's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and the returning is to God. 42 Do you not see that Allah drives along the clouds, then gathers them together, then piles them up, so that you see the rain coming forth from their midst? And He sends down of the clouds that are (like) mountains wherein is hail, afflicting therewith whom He pleases and turning it away from whom He pleases; the flash of His lightning almost takes away the sight. 43 Allah alternates the day and the night; indeed in this is a lesson for those who can perceive. 44 God has created every beast of water, and some of them go upon their bellies, and some of them go upon two feet, and some of them go upon four; God creates whatever He will; God is powerful over everything. 45 Now We have sent down signs making all clear; God guides whomsoever He will to a straight path. 46 But the hypocrites say, "We have believed in Allah and in the Messenger, and we obey"; then a party of them turns away after that. And those are not believers. 47 And when they are called to [the words of] Allah and His Messenger to judge between them, at once a party of them turns aside [in refusal]. 48 And if the truth be on their side, they come to him quickly, obedient. 49 Is there a malady in their hearts, or they are deluded, or afraid that God and His Prophet would be unjust in dealing with them? Not so; they are themselves unjust. 50
