۞ Those who do not hope to meet Us ask: 'Why have no angels been sent to us? Why can we not see our Lord' How proud they are within themselves, and have become greatly disdainful. 21 On the Day when they behold the angels, there will be no glad tidings for the sinners. They will say: 'A refuge which is forbidden' 22 And We shall turn unto the work they did and make it scattered motes. 23 The inmates of Paradise will have a better abode that day, and a better resting place. 24 And the day when the sky will be split asunder with clouds and the angels will be sent down in full. 25 The dominion on that Day shall be the true dominion of the Compassionate, and it shall be a day upon the infidels hard. 26 And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist, etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (Muhammad SAW). 27 Alas for me! Ah, would that I had never taken such an one for friend! 28 "He indeed led me astray from the Reminder (this Quran) after it had come to me. And Shaitan (Satan) is ever a deserter to man in the hour of need." 29 The Messenger says: 'O my Lord, my people have taken this Koran while deserting it' 30 To every Prophet We have appointed an enemy among the harmdoers; your Lord is Sufficient for you, a Guide and a Helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say: Why has not the Quran been revealed to him all at once? Thus, that We may strengthen your heart by it and We have arranged it well in arranging. 32 We will support you with the Truth and the best interpretation whenever the infidels argue against you. 33 The ones who are gathered on their faces to Hell - those are the worst in position and farthest astray in [their] way. 34
