The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
