The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
