The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We will, We shall send down on them out of heaven a sign, so their necks will stay humbled to it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
