The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
