When your Lord called upon Moses: "Go to the wicked people, 10 the people of Pharaoh, who refuse to be conscious of Me!" 11 He said: O my Lord! surely I fear that they will reject me; 12 and "my breast is straitened and my tongue is not fluent; so send Aaron as well; 13 "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me." 14 (It was) said: "By no means. Go with My signs, both of you. I am verily with you and I hear. 15 And come together unto Pharaoh and say: Lo! we bear a message of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 "So allow the Children of Israel to go with us.' " 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 "And you did your deed, which you did (i.e. the crime of killing a man). And you are one of the ingrates." 19 He said: I did it then when I was mistaken. 20 “I therefore went away from you as I feared you – so my Lord commanded me and appointed me as one of the Noble Messengers.” 21 And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Pharaoh said, 'And what is the Lord of all Being?' 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure." 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!" 26 (Pharaoh) said: "Truly your messenger who has been sent to you is a veritable madman!" 27 (Moses) said: "Lord of the East and the West, and all between! if ye only had sense!" 28 Fir'awn said: if thou wilt take a god other than me, I shall surely place thee among the prisoners. 29 (Moses) said: "Even if I showed you something clear (and) convincing?" 30 [Pharaoh] answered: "Produce it, then, if thou art a man of truth!" 31 So Moosa put down his staff and it became a visible serpent. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it was white to the beholders. 33
