Behold, thy Lord called Moses: "Go to the people of iniquity,- 10 and ask them, "Why do you not fear God?" 11 He said: "My Lord! Verily, I fear that they will belie me, 12 And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron. 13 Moreover, they keep a grave charge [pending] against me, and I fear that they will slay me." 14 [Allah] said, "No. Go both of you with Our signs; indeed, We are with you, listening. 15 So go you to Pharaoh, and say, "Verily, I am the Messenger of the Lord of all Being; 16 Send with us the Children of Isra'il? 17 (Firon) said: Did we not bring you up as a child among us, and you tarried among us for (many) years of your life? 18 You spent many years of your life among us and then you committed that deed of yours. You are very ungrateful indeed." 19 He said: I did it then, when I was of those who are astray. 20 I fled from you because I feared you. But my Lord has given me judgment and made me one of the Messengers. 21 That is a blessing thou reproachest me with, having enslaved the Children of Israel.' 22 Pharaoh said: "And who is this Lord of the Universe?" 23 He said, 'The Lord of the heavens and earth, and what between them is, if you have faith.' 24 Said he to those about him, 'Do you not hear?' 25 He said: your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers. 26 (Pharaoh) said: 'Surely, the Messenger who has been sent to you is mad!' 27 Moses continued: "(He is) the Lord of the east and the west, and all between them. If you only had any understanding!" 28 (The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated." 29 Musa (Moses) said: "Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing)?" 30 Pharaoh said: "Then bring it if you are truthful at all." 31 Then he cast down his staff, and lo! it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers. 33

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
