۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
