۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 "There is a small group of people 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
