۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
