۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
