۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
