۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
