۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
