۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
