The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
