The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
