The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
