The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
